The Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Neuroscience at Caltech
Following the creation of the Chen Institute in late 2016, Shanda’s founders donated $115 million to create the Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Neuroscience at Caltech. The Institute brings together the diverse, cross-disciplinary efforts focused on understanding the brain at a fundamental level.
Tianqiao Chen Institute for Brain Health
The Tianqiao Chen Institute for Brain Health was established in April 2018 to focus on brain disease research and strengthening translational research between clinical and fundamental research in partnership. The institute was created in partnership with the Zhou Liangfu Medical Development Foundation and Fudan University-affiliated Huashan Hospital in Shanghai. Shanghai Mental Health Center then joined the partnership.
